Dive deep into your Mantis Boxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Enroll your little fighter into one of the only camps of its kind. A balanced day of drills for skills, fun games, special activities, and bouts. Taught by our team of professional coaches who create a cooperative, positive atmosphere for a variety of ages and skill levels from novice to expert.
Younger trainees will enjoy games like bronco ride, backpack, shoots and ladders, sub hunt, apple grapple, block-ade, pretzel vision, and more.
Older, more experienced boxers/grapplers will be challenged with positional sparring, games like wicked wizard and ball maul, and 1 vs 1 matches.
Improve bridging, timing, and footwork; offensive skills such as -- striking/kicking/grappling control & submissions; defensive tactics such as -- strike blocking, kick defense, anti-grapple defense, and escapes.
MASTERS OF THE PIT
Masters of the Pit is a week long competition that takes place during each Mantis Immersion Camp. Trainees are divided into teams and unite together to earn battle points through team competitions, games, and peer coaching. This not only gives the kids purpose, but motivates and encourages them to coach and improve one another through observation and analysis; solidifying solid learning experiences. The encouragement and motivation is powerful, and build throughout the week, culminating in the grand finale. The team with the highest point accumulation after Friday's finale win the title of MASTERS OF THE MANTIS PIT!
Special Activities
In between training blocks each day, we keep the motivation and excitement high with special activities like Ninja-Hunt, Smash Bros Tournament, Fists & Fiends, Archery, Sword, and Friday’s EPIC NERF WAR!!!
Daily Schedule
9:30 - 3:45 p
Drop-off each day runs 9:00 – 9:20 a.m.
Afternoon pick-up runs 3:45 – 4:15 p.m
FOOD & REFRESHMENTS
Snacks & Drinks will be provided by us.
Bag lunch - please bring a bag lunch for your child.
EXTENDED DAY
We offer an extended day program for our camp families before and after regular camp hours. Extended AM is from 7:50 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. Extended PM is from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Both morning and afternoon extended day will consist of organized activities. Afternoon care also includes a snack and an activity choice. Families can register for an extended day program on a daily or weekly basis.
2022 Extended Day Fees:
Morning: $15/day or $60/week
After Camp: $30/day or $120/week
